93 7.3 4x4 4” lift, new shocks tranny and egt gauges , 40-20 upgrade seats, driveshaft fell out when driving , it’s in the bed of the truck , oil cooler leaks sometimes have gaskets come with ( I still drove it like this never had an issues because ) , so it’s as is , fires up drived great prior to the shaft falling out, both tanks work ac & heat work . One Rear door doesn’t work don’t know why . Has new injectors and glow plugs worked in the cold . When you put gear selector back into park it makes a whining noise, selector or linkage maybe bad idk I'm not a mechanic .... New rear differtial case! A family workhorse for many years that we're sad to see go. Carried horse trailers cross country and 20,000lb food trailer with no problem. A heavily upgraded truck that starts with the $3000 Banks Sidewinder Turbo 7.3L Indirect Injection. This system was installed approximately 20k miles ago. Since used for pulling, 5th wheel brackets and trailer brake control system were installed. Transmission fan also installed. The front and rear ends are slightly lifted. Noticeable positive front camber to ensure a smoother ride when loaded. THE BAD... The body is in fair condition (looks great at a distance). Slight rust on both front fenders (pictured). Rear bumper has been dented (pictured). Over the past year the truck has seen little use due to being replaced. First and foremost the engine starts in any weather. Sounds great and runs smoothly outside of a small fan belt wind at idle... So the bad is pretty much isolated to the transmission. After a couple months of rough gear changes it finally gave out 2 weeks ago and would no longer move in drive. Reverse, 1st and 2nd will still move the truck. The truck was looked at by our mechanic and the transmission will need to be replaced. Unfortunately we aren't looking to replace this as the sell of this vehicle was inevitable. If interested, we have been quoted $2400 for new and installed transmission from local our shop. The truck has much much more life in it and will make any new owner happy.
